A third generation seamstress (by familial tradition), Kiniokahokuloa Zamora has viewed his world through the eye of a sewing needle since age 10. Under consistent tutelage from his Aunty Delilah, this interest, turned into a hobby that sparked a lifestyle as attended Honolulu Community College’s Fashion Technology program and New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology where he learned a variety of perspectives and polished his skills. He would then return home where he is most in tuned with his design inspirations.
He has collaborated with a number of individuals and businesses in Hawai’i’s Fashion scene, as well as fashion beyond the islands.
He was blessed to be a competitor and finalist on Season 13 of Lifetime’s Project Runway where he showed at New York Fashion Week and returned home where he premiered at Honolulu Fashion Week.
Currently, Kini Zamora, and his self-named fashion house, is always forthcoming and consistently respective of his structured, yet elegantly edgy esthetic, steady in ingenuity and timelessness, a rarity that you are proud to wear.
